SIO
Born in Tokyo, SIO is an artist who works primarily with plush as a medium. Influenced from an early age by puppet shows, clay animation, and sitcoms, SIO embraces the philosophy of “Brightening the world through silliness.” In 2022, SIO began creating "The TOMODACHI!", a signature series of art toys.
SIO’s wide-ranging practice includes character design and development, puppet production, and branding for projects such as NHK ETV’s "Mitateru Phorze", the X content series "Whippi & Wrappi", and SUNTORY’s "Bottle Pet". SIO has also participated in various collaborations, including a project with Naomi Watanabe.

東京都出身。ぬいぐるみを主な表現媒体とするアーティスト。幼少の頃よりパペット番組、クレイアニメ、ホームコメディなどの影響を受けて育つ。「バカで世の中を照らす」をフィロソフィーとして掲げ、2022年より代表作であるアートTOY作品「The TOMODACHI！（ザ・トモダチ！）」の制作を開始。
NHK Eテレ「みたてるふぉーぜ」、Xコンテンツ「ホイッピ＆ラッピ」、「サントリー ぼとるペット」などのキャラクターデザイン設計・パペット制作やブランディングに関わる他に、渡辺直美とのコラボレーションなど、幅広く活動している。
